An SF startup, and good friends of ours BoomBotix have been busy at the lab developing a new speaker system that’s not only an eye-catcher but a game-changer aswell. They recently went to KickStarter and crowd-sourced their new project .. REX.
We spoke to Chris McKleroy, co-founder of BoomBotix and spoke about their new project. This is what he had to say: “The Boombot REX marks a new chapter for Boombotix, taking all the things we stand for- ultra portability, design, technical innovation, and amazing sound, to entirely new levels. We are stoked on how it came out!”
With an initial goal of $27,000 the REX received critical acclaim and has already amassed more than double their goal! F*ck yeah guys, keep it up! We hope to get our hands on the REX when it comes out. We smell a give-away perhaps?
