We’ve seen a lot of new kids out on rides recently, and we’ve helped a bunch with flats. If you are new to the game, check out this video from Pure Fix TV that breaks down the essential tools you need to carry with you when out riding. The homie George is a local rider and expert mechanic, you might recognize him from To Live & Ride in L.A.
We would also add a patch kit, some cash, and a CO2 inflator (smaller and stronger than a handpump). Ride safe.

We were stoked to work with El Maestros, a local bike shop in Downtown Los Angeles, to build the first PIAS in the USA. Here are some of the pics from the build and the resulting video…
If you are interested in getting your hands on a PIAS, you better act fast. These frames were imported only by TRAFIK and in limited numbers. They can be purchased from the TRAFIK SHOP for only $389 – which includes frame, fork, Tange headset and TRAFIK decals. Or you can drop into El Maestros and feel the steel for yourself.

TRAFIK spent our Labor Day weekend chillin at the Lord of Griffith IV race in Griffith Park. Great day, hot as fu*k . The 105 guys and girls who competed in this race really had their work cut out for them. Three killer laps of the park, which means three killer climbs and descents. Fixed gear only – you know how is goes.
This year’s winners were HERN – 1st, WILLO JUAREZ – 2nd, IVAN DELGADO – 3rd. The “Lady of Griffith” was awarded to MEI.
Check out all the pics on TRAFIK’s FLICKR page, we’ve been shooting photos at races for the past couple years, lots of good stuff on our FLICKR.
