To Live & Ride in L.A has been around the world and has one final screening in Australia before coming home to the good ol’ US of A.

This one is going to be good. Our friends over at Treadly bike shop in Adelaide, Australia are presenting the film with an alleycat to benefit the Japanese earthquake victims. Check out the poster, Aussies have a good sense of humor…

It’s going down this Sunday if you are in the Adelaide area, or if we all want to pitch in to buy JTR roundtrip airfare I think he can win this one.

The Chubby Boob “Revenge of the Nerds” race went down in Riverside this past weekend. It was a great way to kick off the racing season with a really fun college themed race thrown by Chubby Boob, ACE, TOLA and Two Rabbits Studios.

Riders had to hit multiple checkpoints where there was a panty raid, beer pong, and a paintball shooting gallery. Each racer was “graded” depending on when they arrived and if they could earn “extra credit”. The race manifests were report cards. Whose crazy ideas was this again?

Although some people got turned around on the unfamiliar streets, it ended up being an awesome event with great weather, clear streets, and a gang of fools showing up to rep LA. Great job putting together such a fun event. Check out some pics from Chubby Boob blog and TRAFIK Flickr.

TRAFIK recently did a collabo with the DTLA Messengers to film their annual Vuelta de Los Angeles Race. The race was sick, over 30 miles with three of the steepest climbs in the city. Teaser alert: JTR won.

Here is a trailer from our friends at Take Over L.A. for a race that took place on 11/15/09. The race consisted of 3 sprints and 3 sets of stairclimbs that eventually lead to a free for all race to the Bike Day LA event in Hollywood. Eight miles through the streets of Los Angeles traffic.

The second annual VCR Thanksgiving food drive race! Hern put on an awesome event that raised 525 lbs of food to feed the homeless this holiday. Racers had $20 to spend at any three grocery stores, and got points for fastest time, most items, and heaviest load. Sean took 1st overall, and Matt had the heaviest load with 72 pounds of food!! L.A. has proven to be the fastest racers on THE STREETS at the Mash race in Vegas last Wednesday night – the race we represented at while promoting at Interbike. TRAFIK featured riders Hern, Sean, Anthony and company came in and smashed the strip like they owned it. If you don’t believe me, ask Garrett himself. Mash’s blog said, “LA runnin deep…” Drag races through live traffic is something we love to do in L.A. BTW, I loved seeing all those All City Race 3 Wolfpack Hustle x TRAFIK tees.
