Official Los Angeles Release Party for To Live & Ride in L.A.!

It’s going down! Saturday, June 25th, a screening and release party for To Live & Ride in L.A. It’s a worldwide event with co-release parties in London, Germany, and Phoenix on the same night!

This event is FREE! That’s right, come peep the movie everyone will be talking about, throw back some Pabst, and don’t make any plans for Sunday, cause we are going to rip Saturday a new one.

There will be DVD’s available to purchase.

This is a sick venue with over 10,000sqft of room.

Come with your bike and Chubby Boob will keep it safe during the event.

This past Sunday was the third installment of the Lord of Griffith. At the afterparty, we screened this short film we made from the very first LOG. We were there way back when, filming the first one and sponsoring it as well as the next two installments and beyond. Look how easy the racers had it for the first race! The last two years were so much more harder. Sean is a Sadist, in a good way. The brainchild of our rider Sean from TOLA!, the LOG course takes racers through the largest metropolitan park in the USA. Smack in the middle of Los Angeles, Griffith Park provides grueling climbs, technical downhills and a little traffic fighting on surrounding streets. Year after year this race keeps getting bigger and better. We hope to see ya’ll out there next year, we hope to have more out of towners, too! This is another DVD extra feature only available on the DVD. Get hype, it is dropping on 6/21/11!!!

Yesterday was a smash success. Another Race brought to by our friends at TOLA! Sean has really made this into the race of the year, year after year. Epic and fun, with everyone walking away with product and smiles. We very happy to be apart of it and sponsor this race, year after year. To the results and what went down!

We hope you guys have been getting ready for this. The most epic Track bike race in LA if not the country. If you ride track bikes in Los Angeles, you have to at least attempt this once. The brain child of Sean from TOLA!, (sadistic fucker) The Lord of Griffith series has been testing peoples legs for the last two years. We are proud sponsors once again this year. We actually filmed the very first LOG, made into a short feature, which you will be able to see at the afterparty for this years race! Dangerbird Records keeps bringing the heat to keep your legs spinning. Pretty stoked I get to write about Minus the Bear. I remember seeing these guys years ago when I was living in Seattle. I would feel so bad for the guy who would wear the bear costume at these small sweaty hot shows. That’s what friends are for… I just like how life has come full circle and now they are a proud part of TL&R and are keeping us moving down the road! Just wait until 6/21/11 for the DVD release, and you will see how their music helped to fill the need to Ride in LA!

You know you have finally entered the world of real riding when you get the matching combo of a Thomson stem and seatpost. It took me a minute to achieve this but now every bike I own has this setup and they will always have this setup. You ride with the best. They look amazing, are very well made components right here in the USA, and function exactly has you need them too. We are very proud to have Thomson as a sponsor of TL&R. MTV has a new film site “Next movie“, and they are showing TL&R some love. As part of Bike to Work Week, they are showing Mr. Quick’s clip from TL&R.
If you haven’t seen it yet, its pretty wild. Rush hour on the 101 ain’t no joke, and he is slaying it on his fixed gear bike. … Keep your eyes peeled for other big releases that we can’t talk about just yet. Big things for our fair film. 6/21/11!!!
