Amongst all the carbon fiber there was showcased at interbike,
this Globe Roll utilizing Reynolds 7 series was my favorite by far.
It brings me back to when i first fell in love with the track bike
few years back. It has all the characteristics that I used to drool
over; for instance, the mix of classic styling with the quill stem
but contrasting it with a modern wheelset super deep and attention
getting. The paint job is subtle and elegant and complements all
components. But all those characteristics are not what impressed
me the most.

First up the Ritte Bosberg. I like this one for the color choice
and the tastefully placed logos.

The Affinity booth had a good mix of bikes on display, from your
aluminum track machine, to a prop from a major motion picture
about being a bike messenger. I would love to test out a Kessina
at Encino.

I.Fab. Enough said.

Mixed feelings about Biacnchi’s line up this year. I’m stoked that they
are coming out with an affordable DT shifting road bike soon, but the
brands legendary pista frame seems to be having an identity crisis.

But they did have this one. Everthing was win until I took a closer look at
rear drop out. It seems like that was the one detailed that was overlooked,

Here are many detailed photos of Peter Diantoni‘s bike. I’m a huge fan of
COG magazine and have been a loyal reader for some time now. Look at the
little details of this bike. Nerd Alert! I love this bike.

I pledge allegiance to the SRAM.

Look, Boobies.

The best for last. Made to order, 0 out of 40 Phil Wood Ti Track frame.

If you haven’t picked it up already from your l.b.s., then go swoop the new FIXÉ MAGAZINE and you’ll find the To Live & Ride in L.A. article featuring an interview with director David Rowe and exclusive behind-the-scenes photographs. FIXÉ is a beautiful, full color publication from Paris, France (its got french and english translations). Monos from FIXÉ sent us two different covers and they’re both sick! Also inside are articles about prolly, reload bags, rainier (mash) – so go ask for issue #3 of FIXÉ. Putting L.A. on the world map is what we set out to do a year ago… and now it’s begun.
