The homie George. Leader of the pack, what more can you say about this dude. Spent many a hot summer day filming “To Live & Ride in L.A., smoking blunts, and hanging on the westside. George embodies everything that Venice is…a chill attitude, a sense of humor, and the ability to tear up the boardwalk with the best of them.

“Let them do them, you do you. Worry bout yourself.”

I’ll ride wherever I may roam but L.A. is my home. Venice Beach to be exact. All the stories are true, we have the best weather, women and weed in the States.

I’ve been running a bike shop (LAB) that specializes in fixed-gear for the past few years, so I’ve seen the fixed-gear scene grow every inch. I love it. Not everyone gets along but that’s life.

L.A. is a great place to ride but some people don’t realize how dangerous it can be. I’ve seen my share of frames bent to shit. It seems, for the daily rider, to be quite a challenge to avoid worker ants in their speeding tanks.

It’s going down! Saturday, June 25th, a screening and release party for To Live & Ride in L.A. It’s a worldwide event with co-release parties in London, Germany, and Phoenix on the same night!

This event is FREE! That’s right, come peep the movie everyone will be talking about, throw back some Pabst, and don’t make any plans for Sunday, cause we are going to rip Saturday a new one.

This is a sick venue with over 10,000sqft of room.

Come with your bike and Chubby Boob will keep it safe during the event.

Another Sneak Peek from TL&R. This is one of those scenes only available on the DVD (6/21/11). Buy it here!!! The DVD is stacked with 40 minutes of Bonus Features, this is just one of them.

This is an extended version of a scene from the film where Keo Curry and the Brimstone Riddaz check out one of LA’s well know spots, the beautiful LA River. Kuzberg goes in for a closer inspection. lol.

We feel so Blessed to have Retna’s work in TL&R. Not only on Fram’s Aerospoke but it’s all over LA’s walls, which means we were riding past it all day everyday during filming. He also is a proud member of Brimstone Ridaz, which several of the guys in the film are a part of. You can catch Retna’s work at the MOCA for the “Art in the Streets” exhibit as well as his first solo show in New York! This Video is one of the many bonus features that are only available on the DVD! 6/21/11!!! Get hype!

From the Westside of LA, riding out of LAB, these OG heads were a handful during filming, especially Charlie..who can forget this classic move? CRASH!
Never a dull moment, these guys were super fun to work with and always surprised us with what they can throw down on a bike.

George, Efrem and Charlie were friends before we started the movie, then with Keo in the mix, shit was Craze. These guys showed us what the Venice life is like; riding all day in the sun, locals only spots, smoking hella weed. It’s cool that Venice was the birthplace of skateboarding, and now is really a center point of Fix Gear FreeStyle. On any given day you can find FGFS riders practicing next to the skaters down at Venice Beach. This really is the place to “Think Global, and Ride Local.”

The LAB boys represented the West side in “To Live & Ride in L.A.” and were the best tour guides for Keo during his trip to LA. It was a summer none of us will forget. See it on 6/21/20!!!
