Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and so are the annual races to raise money for local food pantries. TRAFIK is happy to be a sponsor of the VCR RACE going down in L.A. tomorrow, we also reached out to help Arizona locals at State Bike with their Thanksgiving Throwdown, also happening on the 23rd.

As always, you know TRAFIK got ill with the prize bags…

You might win hardware from THOMSON, grips from OURY, hip bags and straps from FAMLI STRAPS, lube and bike maintenance EQ from WHITE LIGHTNING, lights from BOOKMAN, a flip-flop wheelset from PURE FIX, are we forgetting anything? Oh yeah…TRAFIK Apparel + To Live & Ride in L.A. DVD’s, spokecards, decals, the whole 9-yards.

But don’t just race for the prizes, your entrance fees will help feed needy families over the holidays. Come out and race, it’ll make you feel good!

The biggest set of stairs in Europe was the stage for a race between a Messenger and a Pro Downhill MTB racer. Shot for the Dutch TV show “I Can Do That Too”…

It takes some balls to ride this set. Skip ahead to 4:30 in the video unless you want to try to understand Dutch. These stairs are in Belgium in case any of you want to try this on a fixed gear.

Our friends Robert and Sean in conjunction with Orange 20 threw an awesome Halloween alley-cat and block party this weekend. It was the place to be on two wheels. Everyone was in the party mood, great costumes and fun-as-hell games, contests, and prizes, prizes, prizes! TRAFIK was a proud sponsor of the event, check out our FLICKR page for the full set. In about an hour the biggest fixed gear Alleycat of Vegas is about to go down. The winners of this race are going to be really stoked on the prizes that our sponsors have been gracious enough to bless us with; Stems from Thomson, White Lightning lube, Knog Lights and Locks, Aerospoke swag, Kryptonite Locks and Accessories, Livery Design Gruppe Hats, Oury Grips, Skully Boom Boom Boxes, Polar Bottle bottles, gifts from Go Pro, Sock Guy socks, Endurance Conspiracy, Chrome, MonkeyLectric lights, Genuine Innovations co2 inflators and more from Trafik Pictures!

The victors of this race can bump their favorite The Carter IV track while they are cleaning their drive train. Or how about color match their lock with their frame using the Kryptonite Color Skins. Or how about upgrading their oem stem with a Thomson Elite stem. Even if you don’t win, its a great way to see the city of Vegas. I’m sure Hern’s got them going all over town. Stay tuned for the coverage.

Let’s roll Vagas.

Awww, yeah! This is going to be a good one. Wolfpack Hustle throwing an awesome race in the glittery streets of Las Vegas. Racers will be meeting @ 9pm in front of the Sand Convention Center. Trafik Pictures will be putting together a prize bag from our biggest sponsors! Our prize bundle will consist of prizes from companies like Thomson, White Lighting, Oury, Aerospoke. Trafik will have full coverage of the race as it goes down.

Downtown LA messengers through the hardest race every year for the BFF and this one is no different. Starting at Griffith Park Observatory, the race is a grueling check point race that reference scenes in the movie, ‘Terminator.’ Last year Hern won this race (despite not having all the manifests.) This years grand prize is a 725 Leader frame set as well as a package from us here at Trafik Pictures! The race is caped at 54 racers so be there on time and be ready for some pain in this post hipster future!

From the beginning, Trafik Pictures have been a huge supporter of Downtown LA messengers. And it’s because they always make us feel welcome. They were kind enough to include us a sponsor for their upcoming alley cat, Terminator. You’ll see us there for sure. This race is Ace’s personal favorite. Maybe he’ll take it this year. (yeah, right).

The Take Over Race 2

Sean Martin and his camp have been known to throw the most interesting and fun filled races that Los Angeles has to offer. Sean and Take Over LA made use of Los Angeles’ land scape and threw an across town race from Venice Beach to The East Side. Here’s a little insight on some of the racers in this video. In the beginning you see Hern Montenegro along side some other Los Angeles Celebrities. Amongst Hern, we’ve got Jon B., Alonzo Tal and the Jr. Juicer Camp. Hern, Jon, and Zo have been battling it out for a couple summers now and always place relativity close to each other. These 3 gentlemen are great role models for the Jr. Juicers and young cyclist out here in LA. I know this because these kids are nipping at their heels.
